Curiosity

Alba the Brave (#259) was a new arrival at Guadalupe when this image was shot in 2016, and she was extremely curious about my camera. It's not always easy to capture that look of curiosity, but I feel like this shot does a decent job of it. There are so many shots of white sharks out there that capture their raw power, but we often don't see the calm and curious side, which I find equally as fascinating.
